With a successful career growing top global brands such as Unilever, LVMH, TAG Heuer and L’Oréal, Straton adds his experience to the RAC’s vast knowledge of online consumer behaviors, and best practices for omnichannel e-commerce.

“Grocery shoppers have shifted their spending to online channels dramatically over the past 16 months. Partners with Leading Retail, Technology and Merchandising Thought Leaders to Launch Retail Advisory Council

Gargasz will lead business expansion effort for retail robotics company

Gargasz, who reports to Alert Innovation CEO and Founder John Lert, is charged with expanding Alerts grocery automation fulfillment business beyond the company’s anchor Walmart customer to the rest of the industry.

“John brings a breadth and depth of experience to Alert as an entrepreneur, manager and marketer to help our team realize the vision of Novastore and our mission to be the world’s leading supplier of automated grocery fulfillment solutions,” says Lert.

Gargasz is responsible for sales, marketing, product roadmap and partnership development.

Alert Innovation’s Alphabot to be Deployed by MURATEC at Japan's Leading Sports Retailer

Alpen Co., Ltd., aims for a 60% reduction in logistics operations plus benefits from Japan's first 3D robot warehouses

BOSTON, MA – Alert Innovation, Inc., the maker of the retail industry’s most effective automated fulfillment solutions, and Murata Machinery, Ltd. (Muratec) are supplying Alpen Co., Ltd., one of the largest sports retail brands in Japan, with that country’s first 3D robot warehousing system. Called Alphabot®, the solution being installed at Alpen distribution centers uses robot cart technology developed by Alert Innovation, which formed a strategic partnership with Muratec in 2019, to automate everything from storage to picking.

Alpen is expanding its outlets nationwide to meet the diversifying needs of customers in the sports retail industry under the corporate slogan “Making sports more accessible.” As part of this expansion, the retailer is implementing Alphabot warehousing systems featuring 130 robot carts selecting from about 26,000 case locations at its distribution centers.

Alert Innovation Names Industry Leader Fritz Morgan COO

Morgan brings technical and operational expertise to fast growing retail robotics company

Morgan, who reports to Alert Innovation CEO and Founder John Lert, is responsible for engineering, deployment, new product development, operations, service, support and training.

Morgan most recently served as Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer at DEKA Research & Development. He previously held senior leadership roles at Digital Lumens, a warehouse and industrial IoT lighting specialist; Joule Unlimited, Inc., a producer of alternative energy technologies; Philips Lighting and Color Kinetics, which pioneered LED based lighting systems solutions.
